Let us reflect on the life of Pickle, the fish that could not swim. Although with several other unusual pets, he was lovingly cared for by couple that kept him propped up in a sponge. PICKLE is proof of man’s capacity to care for all creatures throughout their sometimes protracted existence, until their occasionally untimely demise.

Total running time is 15 minutes.

PICKLE  received a total of 12 awards on the festival circuit including a Grand Jury Prize at the Florida Film Festival that qualified it for Oscar consideration. PICKLE also had a national theatrical run and was shortlisted for both the Cinema Eye Honors and the IDA Award for Best Short Documentary of 2016.
